With his roots on Lake Oconee, which rests just 70 miles east of Atlanta, Eric Dodd is an Atlanta based Singer-Songwriter with the uncanny ability to cross between the Rock, Country and Americana genres. Critics say Dodd could be best described as the long lost brother of Shawn Mullins and Zac Brown. Dodd claims both Georgia songwriters as influences.
Just 26 years young, Dodd’s fans describe him as an old soul and anyone who digs soulful lyrics couldn’t deny this observation. Although in his mid twenties, his entertaining and energetic shows and undeniable maturity on stage, displays the dedication one must have to make it in the music business.
Dodd and his band have been touring the southeast the past year and a half and are playing over 175 dates a year. Dodd is one of Atlanta’s most polished and eminent artists. Eric Dodd is up and coming…and fast.
His latest record, Time To Decide, is a semi-concept album, exploring relevant topics in our country today yet still has the soul-filled stories of heartache, rekindling of relationships, and finally, of hope. This one is a must own; it’s available on iTunes and at all shows October November 4, 2011.
